London Ambulance Service
London Ambulance Service required a video-based eLearning product using Articulate Storyline. They required voice-overs for all their videos which informed their staff how to record information in emergency ambulances.
This was a last minute decision therefore the time span required to make the learning was halved.
My role was to work with the subject matter experts to write all of the storyboards, record all of the audio and work with another developer to create training videos demonstrating how to use their Cleric ambulance system.
KEY CHALLENGES
-
Content was highly clinical and complex to write
-
100 mins of storyboarding had to be written in 2 weeks from scratch
-
No previous knowledge of clinical systems
-
All training had to work well on high resolution iPad screens (retina)
THE SOLUTION
We created a total of 22 training videos to a high quality that covered every aspects of the training system.
The training included full SCORM compliance and had interactive elements
THE RESULTS
The videos were all published and signed off in the agreed time period and agreed to be of a very high quality. Feedback was universally positive and found to be a highly effective part of the blended solution.
The voice work and editing was particularly welcomed and the solution was universally adopted throughout the trust.
TESTIMONIAL
“I worked with Chris on an extremely challenging project and found him to be a talented developer and voice-over artist! He continues to be a positive and supportive industry colleague. Chris is a great guy to work with, I recommend him for your eLearning projects.“
